U2 At Galstonbury 2011

U2 has shown great camera work which will help a lot with my final piece, in the first 29 seconds there is a lot of shots like at the very start there is a establishing shot that you can see shows the whole experience of glastonbury this lets the audience at home be able to see and feel what is happening before the singer starts you can  definitely see how the camera starts to get low angles and close-up shots of the guitarists and the drummer to show them playing. As he starts to sing there are many close-ups of the singer and the framing is perfect as they have the mic right in the middle of the screen this helps you feel the atmosphere that the band is having. When the instrumental parts came on it would keep panning to the drummer or guitarists to show you what they where doing, the audience shots where very good the way that you can see the pole flags and you feel like you are there from the point of view from the camera seeing the singer peering through. when the tempo changed to become slower the started to add transitions that was distracting from the atmosphere effect but then pans down to the crowd and you can feel the way that the audience are reacting making you feel the same. When the singer comes out onto the platform you have a tracking shot of him and then a pan upwards and then a zoom out showed that the camera men where thinking about showing him and then showing the audience and a front shot of him, this is all to do with the audience as it follows from his point of view and into the crowd to our point  of view and at the very end a long shot to show that you are at glastonbury.
